Our Story
A kitchen built on Saturday soup pots
Rich Chef Restaurant started the way most good Nigerian food does — in a family kitchen, on a Saturday, with a pot too big for one household. What began as soup for neighbours became a standing order, then a small team, then a proper kitchen in Port Harcourt.
Nothing about how we cook has changed. We still grind our own egusi, still pound yam by hand for the people who ask for it, and still taste every pot before it leaves the kitchen.
“If I wouldn't serve it to my own family, it doesn't leave this kitchen.”
